Many water troughs are situated throughout the ranch and are fed with several miles of underground pipe.
Wildlife:Wildlife on Clear Water Creek Ranch has been top priority for the past 14 years. Because of the extensive management program with local biologists, a year round supplemental feeding and selective harvesting; there has been a very strong native herd of whitetail deer developed. In 2008 twenty bred does from superior genetics were introduced, proving to offer an even stronger herd in the future. Other native species that roam the ranch include dove, turkey, javelina, aoudad, hog and an abundance of quail, as well as, axis and blackbuck. The ranch is MLDP qualified.

Remarks:The ranch has never been leased to hunters in the past 14 years of single ownership. It has been privately owned and operated, offering phenomenal hunting of not only whitetail, but many other native and exotic species, as well as, some of the best quail hunting around. The ranch is currently participating in a government program that compensates a landowner to maintain a small number of cattle under the guidance of the Soil Conservation Agency which possibly would convey to the new owners.
