John Ahern – Grew up in Corpus Christi, before going on to the University of Texas
to earn a degree in Economics. Thirty years as owner / operator of a legendary
restaurant – bar in Dallas, taught him well the art of “listening” to his customers
and providing the service they expected. John earned his way in the industry through

I am originally from Kingsville, Texas. I was introduced to the outdoors early in my childhood
through the roots of my family. It has played a huge role in my life and it is now a passion
of mine. The time I have spent in the pasture and on the water has molded me into who I am
today. It has taught me the discipline and respect of land and wildlife conservation. I
began my career as a hunting guide at the age of 14. I have been guiding hunts and taking
hunters on ranches in various parts of south and south central Texas. This has allowed me
to become very familiar with ranch land and its capabilities. I also have experience in
the scientific breeder pens with whitetail deer. I believe the knowledge that I have gained
will help me in finding you your ranch in Texas.
