Shady Oaks Ranch is accessed off of a paved county road and through a custom electric gated entrance. There is approximately two miles of black trap rock/all-weather road from the ranch entrance extending to the main lodge/house, foreman’s house and barn area. Other roads on the ranch are in great condition. The ranch features varied terrain of gravely hills and rich sandy loam soils of the bottomland to the many vistas and valleys spread across the ranch. There is also a 5hp Carrizo well, which supplies water to the main lake, which is in the vicinity of the main house/lodge, this lake has been stocked with large bass. There are also several wet-weather creeks/drainages that pass through the ranch.

Wildlife:

Native wildlife thrives on the ranch due to the diversity of healthy brush and forage that the property provides. The property is sanctuary to an abundance of native wildlife including turkey, quail, dove, hogs and Whitetail deer.
