Description:A grand white-piped entrance with an electric gate leads into this fabulous high-fenced, live water hunting and recreation ranch. An outstanding road system of over 9 miles provides access to all the featured amenities of the land. The terrain is generally flat to gently rolling with high bluffs overlooking the mile of rock bottom, crystal clear Pinto Creek. Recreational fishing, boating, and relaxing by the rippling creek and deep pools are extraordinary. The majority of the ranch is covered in some of the best South Texas high protein brush/browse for the wildlife. Species include Mesquite, Blackbrush, Guayacan, Granjeno, Palo Verde, Brasil and others vital to the wildlife requirements for habitat, cover, and nutrition.

Water:The ranch is sufficiently watered by use of 5 water wells, two of which are windmills, two are electric submersible pumps, and one is an Edwards Aquifer well over 1800 ft. deep with static level at 27 ft. from surface. Miles of underground one-inch PVC water lines deliver water to the many concrete water troughs throughout the ranch. There are also 4 earthen tanks and a mile of Pinto Creek within the ranch.

Wildlife:This MLDP qualified ranch has had an extensive Whitetail deer program in existence for many years, with introduced genetics beginning in 2008 with a group of bred does. Today, it boasts an outstanding native herd of Whitetail. Other wildlife species include Blackbuck, Axis, turkey, dove, quail, javelina, feral hogs, Bobcats, Jackrabbits and various native varmints.

Improvements:The main house/lodge is a 4BR/3B overlooking the Pinto Creek with awesome views of the creek and surrounding Oak covered banks. It has approximately 3,000 sq. ft. under roof including the bedrooms, workout space, jacuzzi tub, spacious kitchen, office and enclosed porch and patio overlooking the creek. Two bunkhouses are in the headquarters area and another 3 BR bunkhouse is located on the east side of the ranch with a game processing station. The headquarters area also includes a 50’x 100’ equipment barn and workshop on a concrete slab with 18 ft. overhead doors. There is a 14-ton overhead feed bin with a trailer auger, bird dog kennels, a pipe-fenced and lighted roping arena, horse barn and stalls, and two sets of cattle pens. There are 10 corn feeders and 12 protein feeders, several quail feeders and multiple blinds which all convey with the ranch. All of the low-fenced internal pastures have bump gates.

Minerals:No minerals available.

Remarks:The ranch is not commercially hunted. It is privately owned and hunted, and has some of the finest deer, quail, and turkey hunting to be found in South Central Texas. The ranch participates in a government-sponsored program which compensates the owner for keeping a small herd of cattle under the Soil Conservation Agency. The program and it's compensation may transfer to the new owner.
